His cultivation is only at Heaven level 3, although with all his tricks he could barely block an ordinary Yin-Yang realm cultivator, everyone else here is a "genius" who can fight above their level like mc. And the rest are almost all at least Heaven level 7, plus they all have their own unique skills, powers and weapons. So, its understandable if mc is lacking compared to people who are vastly more powerful than he is. It's not a nerf, he is just fighting way above his level. Of course in a role playing game only that will give you lots of xp to level up faster. Fighting at or below your level doesn't help you improve much. In story terms they call it pushing yourself to your limits to uncover your hidden potential.

its like op mc is good but it will get boring and the story will be boring mc doing nothing...look at those demon king animes and one punch man mc becomes side character, enters only when hype is build up...so its good and donghuas are known for heavy plot armorXD theyll always win r takin revenge.

really cant beat the green weirdo dude even after absorbing too much of DISASTER AURA ? whats the point if he cannot level up at all. PLUS how the fuk he can leave that EMPEROR LEVEL SWORD on old man when he first entered and all those good KING LEVEL WEAPONS (those weapon should be alot powerful then new generation ones)
